Companion Care Giving

At Hillendale we employ caregivers with a wide variety of skill sets, experience levels and professional licenses. Many of our clients need highly trained CNAs, HHAs and LVNs, BUT a lot of them do not require such a robust resume for their day to day care.

At Hillendale we employ caregivers with a wide variety of skill sets, experience levels and professional licenses. Many of our clients need highly trained CNAs, HHAs and LVNs, BUT a lot of them do not require such a robust resume for their day to day care. This is where Companion Caregivers come in! There is a huge demand for companionship during the day between 9am and 1pm, and we realized stay at home moms are the perfect people to take on these clients! If you are compassionate, reliable, and looking for a little extra work, we can give you the tools you need to be an amazing caregiver for our clients needing services like:

  • A walk around the neighborhood
  • Accompaniment to a social event
  • Cooking meals
  • Picking up prescriptions
  • Buying groceries
  • Doing light house work
  • Driving to the doctor
  • And much more!

Care giving is one of the most fulfilling things you can do in the community AND you can make money while doing it! We have been in business since 2002 and have an amazing track record with our caregivers (many being here since the very beginning). Care giving can bloom into a long and meaningful career in many avenues of health care, OR it can just be something you do a few times a month to earn some extra cash! The best part is you can work only while your kids are at school! If you would like to apply to be a companion caregiver then please call our office at 925-933-8181 or fill out an employment form here https://hillendalehc.clearcareonline.com/apply/. We would LOVE to hear from you!

Healthy Aging & Care for Men: What Your Aging Father (or Husband) Isn't Telling You

Father's Day is one of the few moments each year when adult children and spouses slow down enough to really look at the older men in their lives. The grandfather who used to lift kids overhead now winces when he stands. The husband who used to fix everything in the house quietly stopped trying about a year ago. The father who once seemed unstoppable now seems quieter, more tired, more "I'm fine, don't worry about me."
