MARIN COUNTY, Calif. — July, 2026 — Hillendale Home Care, the Bay Area's most awarded home care agency, today announced the opening of its newest office in San Rafael, extending its personalized, in-home care services to families throughout Marin County. The expansion brings two new leaders to the Hillendale team: Patrina Smart as Home Care Community Partner and Beki Darrow as Client Care Manager.

Meet the Marin Team
Patrina Smart, Home Care Community Partner, brings deep, established relationships across Marin County and a proven track record of growing home care organizations in the local market. A graduate of Chico State University, where she studied Exercise Physiology with a minor in Health and Wellness, Patrina's passion for healthy aging and senior care took root early, inspired by the close bond she shared with her grandparents. Throughout her career she has worked across the full continuum of care, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges families face and the importance of having a trusted guide during difficult transitions. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, Pilates and yoga, and trying new restaurants with family and friends.
Beki Darrow, Client Care Manager, brings a career built on serving seniors across home care, assisted living, hospice, and post-acute care, including previous Client Care Manager experience in Marin County. Most recently, she served as a Social Service Director in a post-acute care setting, managing the psychosocial needs of 75 residents through discharge planning, placement coordination, and case management. Beki believes every client deserves the same compassion, dignity, and respect she would give her own family, and is committed to building trusted relationships with clients and their families at every stage of the care journey. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and traveling with her dogs and is currently completing a two-year leadership development program through her church.
